The BEST venue around and trust me I did the legwork lol. Our wedding day was everything I had ever hoped it would be thanks to the team here. Thank you for answering my emails at random times. Thank you for taking my half words and completely understanding what I wanted. I really am not sure how anyone gets married anywhere else!!!! They helped me make sure I picked the best vendors and helped me with things I didn’t even think about it. I still have people talking about our food and flowers! Everything about our day was perfect and we owe it all to y’all.

My niece was married there and it was beautiful! The reception room was nice, plenty of dance floor area. The photo’s taken by photographer were stunning!

Great wedding venue. My daughter was married there 4 months ago. Staff was excellent, food was good and the grounds are beautiful.

The Sonnet House is one of the most gorgeous venues in the greater Birmingham area! I am a wedding photographer and every time I shoot here the staff is beyond amazing to work with! The grounds are versatile and will suit any bride and groom's dreams! Call them today, you will not regret it! <3

From a photographer's stand point, this is one of the best venues in Alabama. The entire operation runs like a well oiled machine. The venue is set up to take advantage of the best light of the day and that's so very important. So many times I see gorgeous venues that present so many photographic challenges. It's always all about the light and Sonnet House knows this! I adore every wedding I've ever shot there. They're seasoned professionals who've done this a time or two and if you follow their advice, you'll have a wonderful experience.
PS - a little unsolicited advice:Don't get caught up in minor details. Instead, sit back and and savor the day. It will fly by and if you're too worried about the sign in table, you won't be able take in all the love and joy surrounding you.

There is no way for me to put into words how spectacular the staff at The Sonnet House is. From the moment I emailed Ellen with interest of booking until the moment she walked me out for send off she was spectacular. Jared and Corey are just as amazing. The Sonnet House is as good as it gets! I grew up in Birmingham but have been living elsewhere for years. We planned the entire wedding from out of town. The Sonnet House made the entire process a BREEZE. If you know exactly what style/design you're hoping for, their team can make it happen. If you have no idea what you're hoping for, they will ask all the right questions to ensure your wedding fits you perfectly. Ellen and Jared make sure all the logistics and details are perfect, and Corey is an amazing florist! I always hear about horror stories the week leading up to someone's wedding about stress, anxiety, etc. regarding last minute details. They made the whole experience not only stress-free, but FUN! We were all able to savor time with family and friends without worrying about details. The Sonnet House provides you with an amazing venue in Birmingham, excellent food, beautiful florals, and an in-house coordinator. It is WORTH IT! They did such an amazing job that we would recommend this venue to anyone. Also, you couldn't ask for better people to work with for such a special event. They are the most hard working, flexible, professional, creative, and kind people. I hope to maintain friendships with them! Book your wedding with them! You'll be so glad you did!
